rejection

My “quilt” didn’t get in to the quilt show, but I’m not disappointed or surprised, only somewhat determined to finish the next one. This time it’ll be more of a dryer lint Jesus. I am going to pick it up tonight and hope I can peek at some of the other rejectees, because now I’m curious. They got over 20 submissions and apparently are showing in a room thats about 10×14 feet. I just like visiting that space. And now I’m in the basement typing instead of sewing. I opened up all the blinds to let the sunlight in and now my basement suite dwelling neighbors can see that every window is blocked partially by cardboard boxes.
